Your tour guide will pick you up at the airport.

Sunset Gondola Ride

Discover the magic of Cambodia’s ancient history with a sunset gondola ride at Angkor Thom’s tranquil moat. As you gently glide across the waters in a traditional gondola, soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding ancient ruins. This sunset tour is the perfect way to begin your Cambodian adventure.

Day 2
Angkor Wat Sunrise, Khmer Ceramics, Old Market and Dr Fish.

Angkor Wat Sunrise

Drive approximately 15 minutes and enter the grounds of Angkor Wat through a little-known entrance on its eastern perimeter (the western causeway is where the vast majority of tourists enter). Entering this way, you will avoid most other tourists initially and your first impressions of the monument’s grandeur at daybreak will be relatively private.

Watch as the temple’s silhouette reflects in the lotus pond while the sky bursts into hues of pink, orange, and gold. As the sun rises, your guide will lead you through Angkor Wat’s ancient corridors, sharing its rich history and architectural marvels. Built in the 12th century, this UNESCO World Heritage site is the largest religious monument in the world and a masterpiece of Khmer architecture.

Khmer Pottery Fine Art Class

A very unique and genuine thing to do in Siem Reap, I am sure your kids would love it. You will learn to use a pottery wheel, and use Khmer carving tools to fashion Cambodian ceramics during a 1h45 workshop session. There, a professional local artist demonstrates how to make Cambodian masterpieces. Under the expert eye of your instructor, have a go at the pottery wheel and mold a bowl from local clay. Once you’re satisfied with your piece, use can use a variety of special tools to add kbach (ornamentation) to your artwork. Your pottery will be fired in the kiln overnight and will be ready for pickup the following week, safely packed along with a potter’s diploma, so you can display your souvenir for your friends and family back home. If you prefer to have your pieces shipped home, it can be arranged at your own expend

Psar Chas (Old Market)

Go to the Psar Chaa (Old Market), a unique and intriguing bazaar where one can hunt for wood and stone carvings, silk, Buddha images, and other hand-made Cambodian souvenirs in this wonderful vending labyrinth. The gracious Khmer merchants will help you on what you want, even if it means they go to a competitor.

Dr. Fish Massage

Your kids might like to see and feel the fishes clean their feet while visiting the Old Market. The Garra Rufa fish exfoliation is said to stimulate blood flow and improve circulation, remove bacteria and reduce foot odor and help with athlete's foot. It's also said the fish can stimulate acupuncture points, helping to regulate the nervous system, relax the body and release.

Day 3
Visit APOPO, Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom, Phare Circus

APOPO

Today, get out into the countryside to discover the heart of Cambodia - its people. First, visit APOPO, an organization that trains African Giant Pouched rats to detect buried explosives in minefields, an important service in a country where there may still be four to six million pieces of unexploded ordnance scattered around the lands.

Ta Prohm Temple

Visit Ta Prohm, the ruins at Ta Prohm date from 1186 and have purposely been allowed to be reclaimed by the jungle. Famous for its appearance in the movie Tomb Raider, this mystical temple is entwined with massive fig and silk-cotton trees. Walking through the crumbling corridors and tree-covered courtyards feels like stepping back in time. This highly atmospheric temple complex is a must-see on any visit to Siem Reap and offers amazing photo opportunities.

Angkor Thom & Bayon Temple

Explore Angkor Thom, the grand city of the ancient Khmer Empire, filled with majestic temples and monuments. The highlight of Angkor Thom is the Bayon Temple, famous for its 54 towers adorned with over 200 enigmatic stone faces. These smiling faces are believed to represent King Jayavarman VII, blending spirituality and power. Stroll through the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King, marveling at the intricate bas-reliefs that bring Cambodia’s history to life.

Phare Circus

Tonight, attend the award-winning Cambodian circus known as Phare. Phare is a fusion of multiple forms of visual arts, mixing music, aerobics, dance, juggling, and many other styles to create something authentically Cambodian and completely universal. The energy of the performers is unrivaled, with varying compilations and shows depending on the night. A must-see for any visitor of Siem Reap, especially for families with children. Your guide will pick you at 7:15PM and the show will start at 8:00PM and end at 9:00PM.

Day 4
Countryside Excursion & Floating Village

Countryside Excursion

Continue to the nearby local market to observe the morning shoppers and merchants, before visiting Wat Svayromeat Pagoda. Here, learn about the ancient history of this temple and its religious ties. Here, you will get the sprinkle of water from the Buddhist monk for good luck. In the village, visit a local doctor's home and learn how broken bones are treated with traditional medicine, as well as a home where the popular banana and sticky rice snack is made. See and have a hands-on lesson on making the snack and enjoy the sweet treat. Finally, visit a home where a family has been specializing in handicrafts for generations. See how the grandmother weaves baskets and sews potholders, and talk to members of the family about their craft and lifestyle. Then, visit a local village where you will enjoy your lunch at the villager’s house.

Boeung Tonle Sap

Drive to Cambodia's Great Lake, the Boeung Tonle Sap. One of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia, it stretches across the northwest section of the country. During the wet season, the surface area of the lake increases more than five-fold, inundating the surrounding forested flood plain. More than 1 million people live in this transition zone, among them members of the majority Khmer ethnicity, ethnic Vietnamese, and Muslim Cham. These people thrive on the lake by adapting their entire life to a floating world: markets, schools, churches, flower gardens, vegetable farms, livestock cages, and even police stations literally float on the water's surface.

Day 5
Airport Transfer

Your tour guide will transfer you to Siem Reap Angkor International airport for your departure.
